The second edition of the prize of excellence award ceremony attributed to the best students from primary and secondary cycle for the academic year 2018-2019, took place Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Cinkansé in an atmosphere of cheerfulness.
Held in the meeting room of the Cinkansé Joint Border Post, this ceremony was an opportunity for Scanning Systems to reward, once again, the best students of Cinkansé and Cinkassé at the end of year exams in the area.
With a total value of nearly 2 million FCFA, the prizes were constituted as follows for each level:
- Baccalaureate (BAC): A laptop and an envelope of encouragement
- General certificate of secondary education (BEPC): A computer tablet, a dictionary (Le grand Robert) and an envelope of encouragement
- General certificate of primary education (CEPE): A computer tablet, a dictionary (Le petit Robert) and an envelope of encouragement.
The ceremony, which began at 11am and ended at 12 noon, was attended by the representative of the Yargatenga Town Hall, the Secretary General of the Cinkansé Prefecture, the representative of the chief of Cinkansé village, the Prince of Cinkassé, the principals laureates, parents and teachers, as well as government officials present at the Joint Border Post.
The prefecture Secretary General and the representative of the village chief of Cinkansé thanked Scanning Systems for those actions toward the students, while encouraging our company to never give up on this initiative.
Laureates and parents said they had no words to describe their joy and pride.
The ceremony ended with a cocktail party.
